A concept car I've designed and modeled. I've finally figured out true HDRI lighting, so decided to do a re-render. This one took 49 minutes.

For other angles or info on this car, check my other deviations. :)

Cheers! Great to see another C4D modeler. ;)
49 min!! wow, what do you have in you computer.. that might take forever to render on my machine, would you care lending me the project file to see how long it takes to render? i will only render and delete the finished..

other than that, the model look great, smooth lines and the lighting is great.

I'm a tightass with my models, *ragingpixels is the only one I trust with them sorry. I'm using a fairly high spec computer, no idea how high since I'm using a university computer. But it's built for 3D work. Cheers :)
Nice, I need to learn HDRI lighting that doesnt take 10 hours to render -.-. I can see something else wrong with it now, the white strip between the front of the car and the windscreen has quite a large gap (compared to the rest of it) in one spot.
I demand you do one with the doors closed in 1600x1200, specifically for me.

:-P

Well done, as per usual, Lx.

Don't trust me with your models?

:-O

Kidding - even if you did trust me I have no use for them (I can't exactly improve them in any way).

Well, like I said, very nice.
Man thats a nice car!!

I tried to "attempt" car modelling in C4D, and my one kinda sucked in comparison (had to render in cel-shading to hide some mistakes lmao!!).

Liking your materials and render, sweet! :)

If I sent you this model it'll blow up your poor wee computer, hah. :P Cheers
Cheers man! If you want to get into car modeling, *ragingpixels has a tutorial for modeling the front end of a lambourgini using point to point method, which is how I modeled this. Check out his journal pages for the tut :)
